It seem to me a lot of people forget how great of a player the late Kobe "Bean" Bryant was. Especially this new generation who haven't seen Kobe play at his apex. I see those same kids put people like Stephen Curry in the same sentence as Kobe, when everybody who seen Kobe play knows Stephen Curry not in the same universe as Kobe Bryant, so today in this article I'm going to remind everybody who have forgotten how great of a player Kobe was. Kobe Bryant is a Five-time champion, three with Shaq and two with Pau Gasol, he also have two final MVPS to his name. Kobe only has one regular season MVP but me and many others believe he should easily have more but Kobe wasn't a media favorite like how they try to portray it today. He also made the All NBA first team eleven times and the NBA All Defensive first team nine times which is tied for the most ever, so not only was he an elite scorer he was also an elite defender one of the best 2-way players ever. Just to put in perspective how absurd Kobe Bryant scoring ability was, Kobe scored 40 plus points in a game a 122 times only behind Wilt Chamberlain a stat machine and Micheal Jordan who the majority say is the best ever. Kobe scored 50 plus points in a game 25 times which is third most all time and he scored 60 plus points in a game 6 times which is second all time behind the stat machine Wilt Chamberlain. OH he also scored 81 points in a game no big deal. He's a 18 time All-star and a 4 time NBA All-star MVP. Kobe is a 2-time scoring champ and a NBA slam dunk champion. Another thing to mention about Kobe's career is he played in the tough western conference, having to go through the spurs dynasty, prime Melo, Steve Nash suns, Deron Willams and Carlos Boozer Jazz, Brandon Roy Blazers, Tracy Mcgrady and Yao Ming Rockets. Now people try to say Tim Duncan is better than Kobe but the truth is after the 2002 season nobody ever mentioned Tim Duncan in the same sentence as Kobe again, and after the 2004 season he was globally known as the best player in the world. He was beating teams in the finals that Lebron Cavs couldn't deal with and he beat the Magic easily who beat Lebron easliy. So, clearly y'all have forgotten, the more time that passes the more blind witnesses emerge so its up to the real basketball fans, not box score watchers to make sure Kobe's legacy is not forgotten.
